My family is counting the days to our next Disney trip (we’re talking single digits, people!) and we are excited to be participating in the Disney Dining Plan for the first time. We love the whole dining experience at Disney – everything from snacks to sit-down meals. We’re looking forward to trying some new things as well as enjoying some old favorites on this next trip.
One of the things that I’m particularly looking forward to about the DDP is the opportunity to try some different and new-to-us Disney snacks. I must say that my absolute favorite Disney snack is the Pineapple Dole Whip Float. And even though I’ve had them several times before, I couldn’t possibly even think about a trip to Disney without at least one.
In the past, my family has enjoyed the Mickey Ice Cream bars, Mickey Ice Cream sandwiches, and chocolate covered bananas. Yum!
On our last trip, we enjoyed some new indulgences – including one of my favorite all-time treats (a caramel apple) – and some pastries from the Norway pavilion.
So, what’s on our list of absolute must-try snacks? Here are a few of the things we’d like to try (but I’m sure our stomachs can’t possibly hold it all):
At Magic Kingdom:
- Dole Whip Float *also serve Root Beer Float
- Warm Cinnamon Rolls
- Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich
- Ice Cream Sundae or Fruit Smoothie
At Epcot:
- Egg Rolls
- Churros
- Crepes
- School Bread
- Cloudberry Horn
- Butterfinger Cheesecake
- Baklava
At Hollywood Studios:
- Butterfinger Cupcake
- Tiramasu
- Carrot Cake Cookie
- Roasted Nuts
And at Animal Kingdom:
- Paw Print Brownie
- Pork Egg Rolls
- Yummy cupcakes
Now, tell me about your favorite snacks at Disney. Is there something that I simply must add to my list? Do tell!

Oh YUM! We think alike! A trip to #Disney isn't complete without a Dole Whip! I can't believe it's time for your trip already! Have a magical & restful trip!!
Yum! Lots of good snacks I'll have to try this summer! I've never actually had the Dole Whips everyone raves about! My new favorite snack is the Mickey shaped pretzels at Magic Kingdom!
Yum! Really amazing list! My husband and I are attempting to create our own Dole Whips at home this week! I will let you know how it turns out. Have a great time in Disney... I'm jealous!
Rosanne @ The Disney Point
My favorite is the Mickey apple.. and I love fudge - I was told by a cast member that formerly worked in the Confectionary on Main St that the brownie fudge is the way to go.. I just ran out of time for extra snacks!
In Epcot, there is (or was) a little bakery across from the castle in Norway...that makes fantastic Norwegian snacks like LEFSE....if you haven't tried it....you must!!!! My kids love it when I make it (isn't often...because it is a terribly arduous task!)
That's some list of #Disney snacks! I also like the dole whip float but don't hate me but I am not a fan of plain dole white.
That is an excellent list of snacks! One of my favorite snacks since this last trip is the homemade caramel popcorn from Karamell Kuche in the Germany Pavilion. I say you add that to your list - you won't be disappointed . . . well, unless you do not like popcorn or caramel! ;-)
The dole whip is one of my favorites, too. I started getting it each trip in memory of my mom, because that was always her favorite Disney treat. Now I can't imagine a trip without it, either. I also recently tried the carrot cake cookie. Yum!

I love the Cloudberry horns in Norway and the Carrot Cake cookie at Hollywood Studios. I highly recommend trying both. :)
