Recently, I received the opportunity to review a new movie called A Mile in His Shoes. I have to admit that when I glanced at the cover, I thought to myself “oh no, not another baseball movie!”
Then, I read the description and knew this was a movie that my family would enjoy:
From the director of "Angels In the Outfield" comes an inspiring story about a special boy with an amazing gift, and the coach who believed. Dean Cain and Luke Schroder star in the gmc movie based on the book "The Legend of Mickey Tussler".Yep, that’s it; but it was enough. You see, Mickey – the main character in this movie – has Aspergers Syndrome, which is a mild form of autism. One of my dearest friends has a son with this same condition. I’ve enjoyed watching from the sidelines as he has grown and overcome so much over the past few years. I knew this movie would be an inspiration as well.
And I was right! We really, really enjoyed A Mile in His Shoes – and I know it’ll be a movie we’ll reach for over and over again when we have family movie nights.
I have the opportunity to bless one of you with a copy of this movie as well! If you would like to add A Mile in His Shoes to your family movie collection, please read on and follow the rafflecopter directions to sign up for your chance to win.

I LOVE Baseball movies!!! Great review!
i cant get the Mile in his shoes FB page to load... or I would like it.
what a sweet, sweet story!
Sounds like a great movie my kids would love! :O)
I think this would be a great movie for all of us in my family, especially with Sophie being suspect Asberger's.
I learned that this web site was available! How in the world have I not heard about GMC TV before?!?! This will be a valuable resource with my youth ministry! Thanks! :)
works now! :)
Sounds very similar to another book I read last year that I can't remember the name to. Looks good, though!
What appeals to me is the main character. Our daughter is autistic. It would be good for her to see how someone over comes.
We just love movies here!!
I think this would be an awesome movie to have in our family since Chandler has Asperger's.
I didn't know about GMC TV! What a neat site. I am intriqued by the movie Sugar Mommas, that premieres this weekend. :)
I have a dear friend with a child with aspberger's too..I would LOVE to win this to bless and encourage her in her daily walk through the trials and to help her to see the beauties of who God created her son to be...
I believe my oldest son has Asperger's, but he does not have an official diagnosis. I have come to this conclusion based on my own extensive research. I would love to add this movie to our family collection...it would be perfect for our next family night! ;)
I'd like to win this dvd because my children need to have a better understanding of those who have autism and asperger's syndrome. I want them to have a love for people with unique personalities and differences.
I would like to win this DVD because I too, feel there are not a lot of decent movies out there. As a Sunday School teacher, this could be a great time for a gathering.
You need to pick me!!!!! My son loves baseball and we know of someone with Aspergers! Puh-lease!
