Welcome to the first stop aboard our
Special Edition 24 Hours of Disney Loop.
Enjoy the ride as we share with you how we would spend
24 hours in a Disney park.

Wow! 24 hours in a Disney park?! Can you even imagine! I can’t! But, guess what? It’s a reality TODAY!
Why? Because today is Leap Day – and Disney is celebrating with One More Disney Day!
Both the Disneyland Park (in CA) and the Magic Kingdom Park (WDW in FL) are open for 24 hours, starting this morning at 6am, and going through tomorrow morning at 6am. Now, that is a die-hard Disney Lover’s dream come true!
I find this whole promotion very cool because --- well, today is also my 5th “official” anniversary (though I’ve been married for 20 years!) And, while we “celebrated” our anniversary at Disney last month (a few weeks late) and I’m stuck here at home today, I’m still dreaming of One More Disney Day!
So, what would I be doing if I were at the Magic Kingdom today? Man, I don’t even know. Just thinking about it makes me feel like a kid in a candy store. There’s just so much to see, do, and eat, that I don’t even know where I’d start. 24 hours is a lot of time!
That should be plenty of time to eat all of this --- breakfast at Crystal Palace, corn dog bites at Casey’s Corner, some yummy snack from Main Street Bakery, a nice sit down meal at Liberty Tree Tavern or Tony’s Town Square (or maybe both?)
And I should have time to ride (even barring long lines) --- the Walt Disney World Railroad (I have yet to ride this thing the whole way around the park), Jungle Cruise, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, it’s a small world, Mad Tea Party, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan’s Flight, Astro Orbiter (Gracie’s been dying to do this one), Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Carousel of Progress, Space Mountain, and Tomorrowland Transit Authority.
And, in between riding and eating, I’m going to sit down and enjoy these things --- Country Bear Jamboree (hey, I have 24 hours!), The Hall of Presidents (love this!), Mickey’s Philharmagic, and Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor (while hoping and praying that I don’t see myself on that screen!)
Oh, and the most important thing --- in 24 hours, I should be able to partake of at least 3 Dole Whips, don’t you think? I’ll try to space them out!
What about YOU? What would you do with One More Disney Day?

I would try to do everything and eat a lot of dole whips and Mickey ice cream bars.
Happy Anniversary, Heidi! Be on the look out from your postcard from Disneyland!
Sounds like the perfect Disney day! :-) By the way, I feel the same way about the Laugh Floor!!
First of all HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! A trip to Disney would have been the perfect present, silly husband... I don't know about 3 Dole Whips, I would have to have ice cream from the Plaza.
