Last week was the first week of new Tiggerific Tuesday blog hoppin’ fun, as Jodi has added TRIVIA to the mix! Yay! I love trivia – especially DISNEY TRIVIA! This week, we’re adding EVEN MORE FUN as 3 co-hosts are coming on board! So, each week, you can plan on 4 tidbits of Disney Trivia – and you get to share your trivia as well!
You can find Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia here:
Did you know? This year marks Epcot’s 30th anniversary! It was originally referred to at EPCOT Center (EPCOT was an acronym standing for “Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow”).
A few years ago, we had a Cast Member ask us what it stood for and I rattled that off. He said “No, it stands for Every Person Comes Out Tired,” which is also very true!
It took 1,700 tons (in other words, about 3.4 million pounds) of steel and 26 months to build Spaceship Earth.*
People who have never visited Walt Disney World often seem surprised to find out that there is an attraction housed INSIDE this giant ball!

Thanks for co-hosting, Heidi! Great trivia info! Gotta admit, before my first WDW visit, I didn't know there was a ride in "the big silver golf ball" either. Now, it's one of my kids' favorite attractions!
The only reason I knew was because I was highly prepared with a Birnbaum's Guide before our first visit in 1988. Always the planner!
such a fun idea for a blog hop! Thanks for getting it going!
Thanks for writing about one of my favorite attractions, Heidi! Spaceship Earth is a great ride!
