Disney-style Indulgences for Mother’s Day

Blogorail Logo

Welcome to those of you joining me from Return to Disney
and those of you just hopping aboard.
I am the 2nd stop on our Magical Blogorail.

I’m excited to be joining Magical Blogorail Yellow this week.
We’re talking about Mother’s Day Indulgences . . .

7164039610581I’m going to start this post off with a confession . . . I already indulged myself (just a little bit) for Mother’s Day.  Another 3D Magical Travel Specialist posted a link to this great business card holder; so when I decided to place an order for Gracie’s birthday, I added this on as well.  I mean, after all, I’m going to the CHAP convention on Mother’s Day weekend to promote my 3D business (and The Ultimate Field Trip), so I need a Disney business card holder, right?!

But, I don’t ordinarily buy my own Mother’s Day gifts.  That’s my kids’ job, right?  So, I thought it would be fun to ask them what  they would buy for me for Mother’s Day if money were no object.  Of course, they already know that it has to be something Disney-related (they live with me, after all).  So, here are the gifts that they have selected for me:

7501002524354I adore my 40th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Dooney & Bourke bag that I won last year.  I would have never bought one for myself.  However, now that I have one and see the amazing quality (I swear this purse will hold up forever), it makes me realize that these purses bring new meaning to the phrase “you get what you pay for”.  Ashley knows that I love that purse – no matter what purse I switch to, I just keep going back to my Disney one.  She also knows that I like to change purses occasionally, and that I'm currently quite taken with this cute Mickey balloon print.  So, if money were no object, I know she’d be getting me this cute barrel bag for Mother’s Day.

1261000441689-1Last year, for Christmas, Gracie got me a little Lotso bear.  I know he’s a jerk on Toy Story 3, but he is cute and cuddly and he smells like strawberries.  I keep him in my bed and I actually hold him in my hand while I’m sleeping.  She’d like to get me a Jumbo Lotso Bear (guess she thinks I need more to cuddle than just a hand-held stuffed animal).  I agree!  This guy is 27”!

400148710401Lately, I’ve been complaining about all the various partial sets of silverware that we have.  I’d love to have all matching silverware, and service for at least 12 people (if not more).  We saw this set at Disney on our last trip and it was so tempting!  But, it’s only service for 4, so I’d want at least 3 sets; and with a pricetag of $54.95 each, that’s a bit out of my price range.  However, I talked Ian into picking this for me for this post because I really, really do want it!  LOL  Quite frankly, I want all the kitchen stuff on the site, but I’m trying not to be too greedy!

If you could indulge yourself in a Disney-relate Mother’s Day gift, what would it be?

Thank you for joining me today.
