Esio Hot & Cold Beverage Dispenser

esioRecently, my family was introduced to a new kind of drink machine – the Esio Hot & Cold Beverage Dispenser.  We own a SodaStream, which the kids just love; and I’ve been eyeing up the single serve coffee machines for quite awhile.  So, we were all excited to see what this new drink machine would be like.

We received the machine a few weeks ago, so we’ve been trying it out as a family before sharing it at our “Drinks on Us” party.  We were surprised by the size of the machine – it’s actually quite larger.  We have it sitting beside our microwave and the Esio is actually taller than the microwave. While not quite as wide as our microwave, it’s longer from front to back also.

We received a variety of drink mixes to try.  I was actually surprised with the variety of drinks that are available.  The kids have really been enjoying the cold beverages; but I would have preferred a larger selection of hot drink mixes (more coffees, hot teas, hot chocolate, and hot cider).

pouches

I was so impressed with how easy this machine is to operate.  You simply fill it with water and the machine runs to keep the water cold (so you can also use it to dispense just cold water, if you like – since we don’t have a water dispenser on our refrigerator, this is a plus!)  The machine also heats the water – which, in addition to the coffee drinks, is also great for making instant oatmeal, tea with teabags, etc.

Each multi-serve e-pack will make up to 14 8-oz. drinks.  And the cool thing is that you can change them out between every drink, without having to worry about the flavors mixing, etc.

In order to demonstrate how simple the Esio is to operate, I thought I’d have my 6-year-old son show you:

We thought it would be the perfect opportunity to give it a good test run at my family’s Christmas Eve gathering.  My parents host this event each year.  There were 9 adults and 7 children in attendance (ranging in age from 2-12).

Since we had already used up several of the e-packs, we were happy to find out that they are available to purchase at Wal-mart.  Brian headed out one evening and stocked up so we’d have plenty to share at the party!  Here are a few pictures of my 12-year-old daughter enjoying the ease of a personalized drink:

So what are our thoughts?

  • The kids love the drink mixes.
  • I wish for a few more hot drink choices.
  • The machine is larger than I’d have liked for in-home use (seems more appropriate for an office beverage machine).
  • I love that the drink pouches are available locally at Wal-mart.
  • The machine is heavy and bulky to move (especially when it still has water in it!)
  • I love the ease of use – especially for kids.
  • I think it’s great that you can swap from one drink mix to another without having to worry about washing the machine between flavors, etc.
  • I am very impressed with the “strength meter” – a dial that you can use to adjust the strength of the drink, to taste.
  • All of the drinks (with the exception of the coffee) are ones that I’m ok with serving my children.  They aren’t full of sugar and they don’t contain aspartame (which my oldest daughter is allergic too).
  • It’s great for entertaining because everyone can drink exactly what they like, in the strength they like.

While I probably wouldn’t go out and buy one – simply for the size alone – I would recommend it, especially if you have a large home with plenty of counter space, and are looking for a drink machine that the whole family can use.

Do you have an Esio machine?  What are your thoughts?

NOTE: I received the above-mentioned product for free from Esio and BSM Media, in exchange for my personal use and posting about it on my blog.  I was not obligated to write a positive post, I only share products that I have used and believe would be of benefit to my readers, and I was not compensated in any other way.

Thanks, Suave!

For the past several years, my family has spent very little money on health and beauty aids.  There was a “local” grocery store that would double $1 coupons.  (I saw “local” because it was actually about an hour away.)  I would save up all my $1 coupons and we’d head in that direction about once a month and stock up on both food items and health and beauty items.  $2 off most of those things makes them anywhere from free to $2, depending on brand.  For my family, it was like an adventure to see how much we could save, and our linen closet in the upstairs hallway was always well-stocked with goodies.

That ended this past spring, though.  The store announced that they would only double up to 99 cents and it’s not worth it for us to run up there anymore.  Our supply was starting to dwindle, so Ashley and I stocked up on some goodies in November.  Then, Brian and I decided that it was time to start filling stockings with practical goodies that we’ll be needing throughout the year anyway.

And that’s when I discovered this:

001

Back in November, after a shopping trip to Lancaster with Ashley, I had posted this on my FB wall:

Great morning at church, relaxing afternoon, nice visit with my parents, yummy homemade burgers (thanks to Ashley). Now, I think it's time for a bubble bath with my Winter Candy Apple goodies from Bath & Body Works!

To think when I bought them the girl said "You know you can mix and match the scents?" Really?! Why would I want to? The very last gift I received from my friend Sue was a Winter Candy Apple hand lotion that I carried in my purse and farmed out for as long as is humanly possible - now I try to replenish my supply every winter!

I guess you could say I’m a bit addicted to the Winter Candy Apple stuff from Bath & Body Works.  But, let’s face it, unless they are running a good sale or you’ve received a coupon in the mail, their stuff tends to run a bit on the pricey side.

Since we’re cheap and have gone back to using the affordable Suave products, I was beyond thrilled to see that they had introduced a Candy Apple fragrance of their own!  As it turns out, thanks to their FB page, I realized this was actually a FALL scent, not a winter one – which explains why there were only 3 left on the shelf at Wal-mart (and, yes, I  bought them all!)

Honestly, I think they smell very similar.  I’ve been using it for bubble bath and it’s awesome! And at $1.50 for that GIANT bottle, I can totally justify buying a bunch of  them at a time!  (I hope they bring it out again next year, so I can buy more!)

Do you have a favorite Suave product or scent?  (We’re also quite fond of the coconut.)

Oh, and lest you think that I’m badmouthing Bath & Body Works in this post, I’m totally not.  I love that place!  And I’ll still be shopping there for my Winter Candy Apple body spray and lotion!

Mary Kay® NouriShine Plus™ Lip Gloss

OK, I’m just going to say it . . . I’m addicted to lip balm.  In fact, I’m so addicted that, last year at BJ’s, I purchased the HUGE packages of 2 of the major brands.  I have a tube at my desk and in my purse at all times.  Oh, and in the van too.  Quite often, there’s also a tube in my pocket!  I know it’s not a healthy addiction; but, quite frankly, I don’t care.

I’m not a fancy girl.  Lipstick isn’t my thing.  It’s too heavy.  I do own a few tubes of lipstick; but I really only wear it on VERY special occasions.  My favorite shade is actually one that I got from Mary Kay®.

MaryKay_NouriShine_logoSo, when I was given the opportunity to review some of Mary Kay’s lip gloss, I went for it.

With Mary Kay® NouriShine Plus™ Lip Gloss, you can kiss those dull lips goodbye—it’s time to shine! Its lip nourishing formula delivers an instant boost of hydration, with a Hollywood-ready polished, stay-put shine. Offered in 14 fashion-forward shades, including: Cream & Sugar, Icicle, Mango Tango, Au Natural, Fancy Nancy, Pink Parfait, Pink Sateen, Pink Luster, Berry Tart, Café Au Lait, Rich Spice, Beach Bronze, Rock ‘n’ Red and Red Passion.

Here is a bit more information about this line of lip gloss:

  • The Mary Kay NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss contains key ingredients such as Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Aloe Leaf Extract and a Pomegranate Sterol to help strengthen skin, reduce appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, smooth lips and help soften and calm the skin
  • This gloss is perfect for women of all skin types/tones and those looking for a boost of moisture with gorgeous color or silky lips
  • With an ultra-glossy shine and the subtle hint of vanilla, Mary Kay NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss will help kiss away a flavorless pout
  • Suggested retail $14.00

row

So, what did I – the lip balm freak – think? Well . . .

36305_041_NSPGloss_MangoTango (2)I received 5 shades to try - Mango Tango (pictured at right), and these 4 (in order from left-right above): Café Au Lait, Cream & Sugar, Pink Parfait, and Rock ‘n’ Red.

Because I’m not a big fan of HUGE color on my lips, I tried the Cream & Sugar first.  I really liked it.  It gave me just a hint of color, which was very nice for everyday.

Ashley wanted to take one to try and knew that I would also lay claim to the Café Au Lait, since she knows I go for the more neutral, warm tones.  So, she took the Pink Parfait

I  tried the Mango Tango on Sunday morning, thinking it might be nice for church; but it was just way too dark for my taste.  I love wearing red clothing, but considering the darkness of the Mango Tango, I know I can’t even try that Rock ‘n’ Red!

Therefore, for me, I like the lighter shades.  They stay on quite nicely and they feel ok, though they are definitely a lot more sticky than lip balm.  The light vanilla flavor is nice.

If you would like to learn more about Mary Kay® NouriShine Plus™ Lip Gloss – or any of  their other products – you can visit them at the Mary Kay Website, on Facebook, and on Twitter.

Note: The information and products were provided by Mary Kay® through MyBlogSpark.  I only post about things that I have used and think would be of benefit to my readers.

Sun, Sunday, and Sunglasses

Today is a sunny Sunday, so I thought it seemed like the perfect time to tell you about something I received in the mail recently . . .

logoI was offered the opportunity of reviewing a pair of glasses or sunglasses from Firmoo.  Those of you who have been reading my blog for some time, probably already know that I realized a few years ago that there are better (cheaper) options than purchasing your prescription glasses from the eye doctor.  There had been a few occasions that we had paid over $250 for one pair of glasses.  Then, I discovered the online options and have been purchasing glasses for my family online ever since.

Firmoo.com is a “global online optical store” specializing in both prescription glasses and sunglasses.  The thought of being able to wear sunglasses again made me very hopeful, as I’ve been missing sunglasses ever since transitioning from contacts back to glasses a few years ago.  Let’s face it, not only is there something fun about wearing a trendy pair of sunglasses, but they also greatly help with keeping the sun out of your eyes – something regular glasses just can’t accomplish.  Oh, I’ve tried the transition lenses that get dark in the sun – they’re ok, but I hate how you walk into a building and they stay dark for awhile.  So, I browsed the sunglasses selection at Firmoo, found a pair I liked, and placed my order.

067I was very impressed with the  customer service department at Firmoo.  Just a short while after placing my order, I received an e-mail from them, saying they were confused by my prescription.  I scanned the original and e-mailed it to them; and all was well.  They wrote back to tell me that my sunglasses would be on their way soon.

I received a shipping notice and saw that the glasses had shipped from China, so I figured it would take them awhile to reach me here in the states.  I was wrong – they arrived at my door in just a few short days!

I’ve had them for about a week now and must say that I’m really enjoying them.  I keep them in my van because that’s where I need them the most.  I thought it would be a pain swapping glasses all the time; but, really, it hasn’t been that big of a deal.  I have realized how much I was squinting when I was driving before – now I don’t have to squint, my eyes are protected from the sun, and I can see!  Pretty cool!  I’ve used them this past week on walks, at amusement parks, and for driving.

Would you like to try a pair of glasses from Firmoo?  Well, you’re in luck!  Firmoo is the world's most popular online eyeglasses store.  Vision and Fashion the Frugal Way is the ultimate goal of Firmoo, so it has always committed itself to providing customers with high-quality and fashionable eyewear at the most affordable prices.  Firmoo launched a program offering free eyewear to first-time buyers in order to make more people try Firmoo’s quality products & excellent service. Plus, it’s easy to get your free eyewear, and the delivery is pretty fast! Want to have a try? Just go to http://www.firmoo.com/free-glasses.html to get your FREE pair!

One thing I must mention about the free glasses --- there are only a limited number of each style available each day, and it’s a first come, first serve thing.  In other words, you might have to be a bit flexible with your time, in order to snag your favorite pair.  But, it’s worth it!  After all, they are free!

After my girls saw my glasses and realized how much I was enjoying them, they each wanted a pair of prescription sunglasses of their own.  I’d highly recommend them!

Here’s a bit more about Firmoo, if you’re interested in learning more about this company:

Firmoo.com is the most popular online eyeglasses store worldwide. Years of expertise in optical industry enable firmoo.com to offer varieties of prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses in a frugal way and to be the ultimate fashion events guide. Since the establishment of our company, we have served over 300,000+ customers and now we also have 470,000+ fans on facebook. We have always committed ourselves to offering customers the best quality products at the most affordable prices, 85%~90% lower than that in the brick-and-mortar optical stores.

NOTE: I received a free pair of eyeglasses in exchange for my posting about them on my blog.  I was not required to post a positive review.  I only post about items that I feel will be of interest and benefit to my readers.

Finding Joy in Depression by Amanda Pelser

The-Pelsers-Blog-Button125Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to attend the 2:1 Conference.  That weekend was a great time of rest, reflection, healing, and rubbing elbows with some old and new blogging friends.  Amanda Pelser from ThePelsers.com was in attendance as well.  Little did I know, at that time, that God was going to bring Amanda into my life in amazing ways this year!

HMButton125x125With the growth of Homeschool Mosaics, we felt that it was time to search out some new contributing writers. I got an e-mail from Amanda, expressing interest in one of the spots.  Amanda offered to write a column on sharing the Bible with your children (“Walking in the Way”).  Great fit!  So, watch for that column to debut in July!

As Amanda and I were e-mailing back and forth, ironing out the details, I kept seeing little things about her book – Finding Joy in Depression.  Finally, I decided to check it out . . .

Cover-Art-Final-231x300Finding Joy in Depression is a story. It’s a story of facing depression and learning to manage it day by day.

Hiding from your depression? Finding Joy in Depression will encourage you to face depression and take your first step towards finding joy.

Learning to manage your depression? Finding Joy in Depression will give you tips for managing your depression and encourage you to share your story with others.

Don’t deal with depression? It’s likely that someone close to you is battling depression and needs your support. Finding Joy in Depression will give you a glimpse into the life of someone with depression so you can support a loved one and create environments where it’s ok to talk about depression.

Amanda Pelser has been married to her high school sweetheart, Josh, for over eight years. They have two young boys, Jonathan and Jacob. She has a BA in Bible from Anderson University and a MA in Old Testament Studies from Talbot School of Theology. She is a former church communications director turned stay-at-home-mom. She spends her days running after and homeschooling her boys. She opens her home as an inspiring and encouraging shelter for the heart of women through her writings of faith, motherhood, and homeschooling at ThePelsers.com. She loves to read, so any time she can, she hides away with a book, her fuzzy blanket, and a homemade chai or vanilla latte in her favorite mug.

I e-mailed Amanda and said “I should probably read your book.”  To which she replied, “Do you deal with depression?”  I wrote back, starting with, “Well, I’d like to say ‘no’, but . . . “

The truth of the matter is that I’ve never been diagnosed with depressions issues, but I think that we all deal with various levels of depression at certain times in our lives.  Hormones, of course, play a role; but so do the things that are going on in our lives each day.

On Sunday, in a review of a music cd, I shared a bit about some of the things that have been going on in my life over the past several years.  To expand on that a little bit --- in the fall of 2009, I was sure I was experiencing thyroid issues.  I had shared my symptoms with friends and many of them said “thyroid”.  I went to the doctor, had various blood tests done, and everything came back normal.  I went on my way thinking that the problems were “all in my head” and I needed to put on my big girl panties and get over it.

Then, the following spring, my best friend passed away and I started to cry.  And cry.  And cry some more.  (To this day, just typing it has me crying!)  By summer, I was still crying.  I took Gracie to the doctor for something and when she was leaving the room, she bent down and asked me how I was doing (she had been Sue’s doctor also).  I lost it.  She said “wait here – I want to write you a prescription for something”.  I took that prescription with me; but I never filled it.  Why?  Because I’m one of those in denial, “I”m fine”, “I can handle it on my own” type people.  From someone who has “been there, done that”, let me tell you that if you find yourself in the place that I was in, do NOT think you can just handle it on your own.  You can’t!  And it’s ok to need help sometimes – even in the form of a pill.

This past January, as a result of my amnesia episode, I was given a low dose of Ativan.  When you have a health scare like that, you do what the doctor tells you! Besides, at that point, I was in no condition to “handle it on my own”. At that point, I could care less what anyone thought of me.  I just knew that I needed to get better.

I’m not saying that my amnesia was depression-induced.  I know that it was stress-induced.  But, looking back at the circumstances surrounding that time in my life, I know that depression was there as well.  I’m not a person who likes major change – and I was experiencing a lot of changes at that point.

Anyway, I share all of that to get to this . . . Depression isn’t something to take lightly, it’s not something that you can handle on your own, and it’s ok to need help!  Amanda talks about all of this – and so much more – in this little book called Finding Joy in Depression.

When I told her that I’d read and review it, I warned her that I’m a little slow with non-fiction.  Then, I sat down with my Kindle and read the book in a few hours time.  I pretty much devoured it.  I could see myself – and my situation – reflected in the pages.  Nobody wants to admit to being depressed, but why?  If we all choose to hide away and not share our stories, then we are missing out on an opportunity to help and minister to others.

Amanda has chosen to step out and shout her story from the mountaintops (or, at least, from the pages of this book); and, in so doing, she is ministering to every person who picks up this book.  To me.  To you.  To anyone who is willing to read it.  Because maybe you don’t personally deal with depression – but surely you know someone who does – or maybe you will someday.

This book is divided into two parts.  The first part is Exposing Depression.  In this section, Amanda shares what depression is, the various stages of admitting that you are experiencing depression, and ways to deal with it.  She shares her personal story, causes and symptoms, and factors that may play into depression.  The second part is Taking Care of You.  As the section title suggests, Amanda shares ideas on the best ways to take care of yourself – diet, exercise, Bible reading, rest, etc.

The chapters are short and easy to read. At the end of each one, Amanda has added a “Finding Joy . . . “ section that includes a few questions for you to ask yourself.

By the end of the book, you’ll likely feel differently about depression.  You might even realize that you’ve been dealing with depression, but didn’t know what it was. If nothing else, you should realize that depression isn’t something to be hidden – it’s ok to talk about it, and it’s ok to experience it.

I am really proud of Amanda for sharing her story on the pages of this book and on her blog!

GIVEAWAY!  Amanda has offered to give one of my readers a .pdf copy of her book.  If Finding Joy in Depression sounds interesting to you, please leave me a comment telling me why.  Have you experienced depression?  Are you dealing with depression now?  Do you have a loved on who struggles with depression.  Open up and share!

I will select a random winner next Friday, June 29th, at noon (est).  Good luck!

Fresh Produce Clothing

Let me preface this post by saying that a model I am not!  I am not and have never been a model – nor do I play one on tv.  There’s a reason for that!  I prefer being behind the camera. I like taking pictures of my kids – and the only pictures of me are usually with my kids (or my favorite Disney characters).

image002

However, when the opportunity to review a piece of clothing from Fresh Produce came my way, I couldn’t pass it up.  Even if it meant stepping out of my comfort zone and pretending to be a model.  I looked the website over, and was pleasantly surprised with their nice selection of summer topsessrlfa-float-above-oys2Spring was upon us and I knew I wanted some new clothing for the warmer weather and our upcoming beach trip anyway.  So, I chose the Float Above Top in the Laguna color. (The model at right is wearing it in the Sanibel color.)  She looks adorable in it, doesn’t she?  I chose the Laguna color because I thought it was a bit more summery – bright and cheery.

I’m a casual dresser, so I was happy to see a large selection of casual clothes in the Fresh Produce line. They offer plenty of plus size t-shirts, but I wanted something just a bit more “dressy” than a plain old tee.

I received the Float Above Top a few weeks ago.  I wanted to wear it several times and see how it would hold up to wear and washing.  So far, I’ve been very impressed with it.  Here is how the website describes this particular top:

The drapey ease of the Float Above Top makes it one of this season's most popular and versatile styles. Gathered pintuck details at the gently scooped neckline give it a feminine and flattering silhouette.

Here are my thoughts on it:

  • It’s super comfy – I mean, like pajama-comfy! This shirt is quickly becoming my go-to shirt for summer.
  • The gathering and pintucks at the neckline make it look so much more dressy than a t-shirt, while still remaining casual enough for me
  • I love the way the sleeves are made (with the gathering) – I was originally surprised to see that the ends of the sleeves aren’t hemmed, but the shirt has gone through the wash several times now and there’s been no fraying whatsoever
  • The fabric (92% rayon and 8% lycra) is amazingly soft, smooth, and comfortable.  This is NOT the rayon of the 80’s, let me tell you!  I’ve dried this shirt in the dryer and it hasn’t shrunk a bit!
  • I appreciate that it is made in the U.S.A.
  • While I would have originally been put off by the $64 price tag, I can tell that this is a shirt that is going to hold up well to wash and wear.  I’m sure I’ll get lots of use out of this shirt this summer.

So, without further adieu, here I am in my new Float Above Top in Laguna (not sure what’s up with my hair or my crazy dog):005

I’d love to add a few more colors to my wardrobe – like Truffle (brown)and maybe Meadow (lime-ish green).  If you’d like to add some clothing from Fresh Produce to your summer wardrobe, I’m sure you’ll be pleased with the quality and comfort.  Oh, and guess what? Fresh Produce now ships to over 200 countries, so women outside the US can enjoy the colorful styles, too.

Tell me about your go-to shirt for the summer!

Massage those aches & pains away with Wahl

Did you give your kids (or your hubby) your Mother’s Day Wish List yet?  If not (or if it’s not too late to add to it), might I make a suggestion?  Add a Wahl massager to your list!

017Wahl makes several different types and styles of massagers. I recently received the Deluxe Heat Therapy Massager to try out.  Here are some of the reasons why I am really enjoying this massager:

  • It’s compact. I’ve had other massage products in the past, but with not a lot of extra space for storing things in our house, they usually don’t last long because I get sick of seeing a box sitting around somewhere with no real “place to belong”.  This massager comes with a handy-dandy storage case that really doesn’t take up much space at all and will easily fit under the bathroom sink or in the linen closet.
    018
  • The massager itself is streamlined and easy to hold onto. While it would certainly be nice to have someone else do the massaging, it’s quite possible to even massage your own back with this thing!  I love that!
    020
  • It comes with 9 interchangeable heads.  Read it – NINE!  So far, my two favorite attachments are the heat attachment and the triad attachment.  But, there are also attachments for facial, muscle-kneading, scalp, knuckle & joint, deep muscle, spot, and general body.  With so many different attachments, this massager is very versatile.
    021

As much as a hate to admit it (and try to deny it), I AM getting older and I DO have aches and pains. Massage is a very effective way of helping to relieve those pains and even ward off some new ones.  Massage also increases blood flow, which effectively reduces pain tension, relieves muscle tension and soothes inflammation. In addition to providing effective pain relief, massage can also greatly improve circulation, regulate blood pressure, reduce anxiety, and provide an immense feeling of relaxation, all of which contribute greatly to physical and emotional well-being.

I know what it’s like to be a busy, multi-tasking homeschool mom.  I want the benefits of massage that I listed above.  Don’t you?  If you’re like me, you don’t have a lot of extra money or time.  Having a massager like this one handy at your fingertips is a lifesaver!  So add one to your Mother’s Day Wish List, or buy one for your own mom (and hope she’s nice enough to share!)

Better Yet – Maybe you could win a massager from Wahl!

  • Wahl realizes that moms work hard all day, every day, and to thank them, they are giving 50 massagers to 50 deserving moms this Mother’s Day.
  • Through its first-ever Mom Relief Initiative, Wahl is providing the tools to help moms achieve the kind of sought-after relief that causes spas to book out Mother’s Day weekend months in advance, and why the spa is among the top gifts for mom every year.
  • From now through May 13, those who like Wahl Home on Facebook can nominate a mom to win a mom relief package from Wahl, whether it’s your mom, grandmother, wife, daughter, a friend or yourself.
  • To enter the Mom Relief Initiative, simply post a comment explaining why the mom on your list deserves relief—maybe they’re a single mom who does it all, a working mom who never takes a break, a grandmother who’s always been there…every mom has a story and every story matters.
  • Entries will be judged on their uniqueness and sincerity and the winners will be selected once the contest wraps up on May 13. Stories MUST be submitted before then in order to be considered.

NOTE: This was a MamaBuzz review.  I received free product from Wahl in exchange for posting about it on my blog. I do not post about products that I have not used and enjoyed.

PA winters & cold feet

One of the things that I’m really starting to resent about life in PA (and I’ve lived here my entire life) is this . . . once the cold weather hits, my feet get cold and stay cold for  the next several months.  Please don’t tell me this is old age setting in and my circulation isn’t what it once was!  I’m in denial of the whole “old age” thing.

img_3809 Fuzzy socks have become my best winter friends.  But, there are times when fuzzy socks aren’t really appropriate and you need a slipper.  So, I was pleased with the opportunity to try the Creme Phur Slippers from Lovesac.  These slippers are made from a hypo-allergenic polyester knit.  Not only are they super soft and amazingly comfortable, but they’re also quite durable.  I’ve been wearing mine for about 2 months and they are holding up very well.

_mg_3796 These slippers would make a great gift for that cold-footed person in your life.  I have to admit that I’m a sucker for good-packaging, and these slippers arrived in a super-sturdy cardboard box and they were neatly tied up with a satin ribbon.  Yep, they had me at “hello”.

My only issue with these slippers is that they are available in 3 different sizes – I chose the large (with is for ladies sizes 9-12) because I normally wear a size 9 shoe.  That size is too large a range, though, and these slippers are WAY too big for me.  I wish I would have went with the medium size because I have to literally hold them on my feet; and the too-large-ness of them has cause me to trip going up the stairs.  So, if you decide to order some for yourself, and you’re a ladies size 9, I’d recommend going down a size for these slippers.

I’m pretty sure your feet will love you for buying these!  As for me, I’ve set my sights a bit higher – now I’m wishing for a Pillow Sac from Lovesac.
