2010 Gratitude Challenge – November 24

24 days into the challenge – only 6 more days to go.  I think we should go all the way through the end of the year, or come up with a new challenge to keep us busy in December! :)

2010GratitudeChallengeButton Today I am thankful for coffee.  I know that sounds simple and silly, but I’ve been consuming an unusual amount of coffee lately!  It keeps me awake, and it keeps me warm.  And, it makes me happy too.  Especially with the awesome creamer flavor selection I’ve got right now (it’s like a smorgasbord of coffee flavors!)

I know coffee is something that they had trouble getting during the Depression era.  Maybe – with the way the economy is going – it’ll come to that again (God forbid!)  But, for now, I’m going to be thankful for my coffee!

I've been tossing a few ideas around my brain for a December Challenge. I've been considering a Christ-Centered Christmas or a 30 Day Walk With Christ. Maybe even a Holiday Traditions one. What do you think?

I would love a December Challenge! I was thinking about how much I was going to miss this one. I was thinking a Holiday Bliss MeMe where everyone could share recipes, crafts, traditions, things that they do during the month, thoughts on Christmas, pictures of their family during December, etc. would be fun.

Oh, I totally love that idea Jennifer. I will set up one for Holiday Bliss. That way we are covered for the entire month and it is as simple as the Gratitude Challenge has been. And those who don't celebrate Christmas, but Hanukkah or whatever can feel they can participate as well. ;) I'll start figuring out and designing a button. hehe

Oh I'd love this idea too. Holiday Bliss sounds awesome! I had already been thinking of posting a daily Advent activity/lesson. Can't wait to see what you come up with Brenda. And not to ignore your post Heidi LOL I'm not a coffee drinker at all....but bring on the tea :) Hot tea in the mornings (preferably Chai) and ice tea the rest of the day. A day without tea around here is like a day without....so many things lol

I feel the same way about tea and hot chocolate! I love how it warms me up from the inside, out.

I'll look forward to a December challenge.
