Those of us who live in PA, can boast about the fact that we’ve got access to lots and lots of chocolate. Sure, you can get Hershey’s Chocolate anywhere, and it’s actually made in places outside the U.S. now (ugh!), but we’ve still got this:
We were able to spend some time at the Hershey’s Chocolate World yesterday. My kids love the factory tour ride; and we had fun introducing it to some friends of ours from out of state.
We visit several times a year; and, though we pretty much have that tour ride memorized, it really never gets old.
We had a lot of fun browsing the gift shops yesterday. We even picked up some Christmas gifts!
Yep – we love Hershey, PA – and all the great chocolate!

You are indeed a girl after my own heart. =) (Except when pregnant. For some reason chocolate is revolting to me at the moment and I find this odd and slightly disturbing. Thankfully it's peppermint season and that's still good!)
Seems like anytime we visit we are never far away from chocolate... either Hershey, MM/Mars/ or whatever one is behind my in-laws place in Mt. Joy. ; )
I've only been to Hershey once when I was like 8 or something. Do you remember the Reese's CRUNCHY Peanut Butter Cups? I don't think they make them anymore...but when we were there, I got to sample one BEFORE they went on the market! That was quite a thrill for me as a kid...like I was on the "inside" getting to try something before anyone else! LOL
Yes, Hershey's World is a fabulous place to visit. We had the opportunity to go there several years ago on vacation. It was a lot of fun. My kids especially liked filling the gear boxes with candy kisses on the assembly line and their employee badges.
