You won’t hear me say this much throughout the winter, but I am thankful to live in the state of PA. It’s such a pretty state in the spring, when everything is bursting forth in various shades of green. I love it in the summer, when it’s hot but not so hot that you can’t stand to step outside. And the fall . . . well the colors are simply magnificent around here.
There are lots of great tourist attractions within a few hours’ drive.
And, no matter what anyone else says, I really don’t think homeschooling is too bad here in good old PA.
So, if you’re thinking of coming for a visit (or maybe for a permanent stay), I say go for it. (Unless, of course, you’re like me and hate winter and snow – then only come if you’re rich enough to winter in sunny FL!)

Sounds like Idaho :) We have a lot of snow-birds around here. Arizona or Vegas it typically their winter living of choice.
Could do without the cold, but I love PA too!!
