I’m thankful that today is the day that we finally get to set our clocks back an hour for daylight savings time. That might sound silly, but it’s been so dark here lately and I have been feeling really tired. I do not want to get out of bed in the mornings when it’s so dark and cold – I just want to stay in my cozy bed (who wants to step out onto those cold hardwood floors?!)
While I really doubt that “extra hour” of sleep that I’m entitled to tonight will do much good, I’m hoping that some earlier sunshine in the mornings will perk me up a bit.

This makes me laugh. You know, I always wanted hardwood floors, but in the winter time, I miss my wall to wall dense and squishy carpet.
lol, I didn't know that was today!
I'm just the opposite. With Mitch working late, I miss the evening daylight and the kids spending time outside with him. But I do like the sunshine early in the morning, too.
Oooh, yeah. Love "fall back"! Following from 2011 Gratitude Challenge.
Yes, falling back always seems so much easier than springing forward, doesn't it? :) It is just now starting to get darker and colder here, but I know I'm going to be having a hard time getting out of bed in the mornings myself very soon.
