Disney Magic at Home

Blogorail Logo

Welcome to the first stop aboard Magical Blogorail Orange. Enjoy the ride as we share one way that we keep the Disney magic alive at home.

There are so many things I could talk about for this month’s theme.  I could talk about how we sit and watch Disney movies and documentaries as a family, how we countdown (forever!) to our upcoming trips, how we keep Disney books and magazines within easy reach at all times, or how I bring home the leftover soap and shampoo so I can have a Disney bathroom fix whenever I want to.  And those are just a few!

But, today I’m going to talk about my kitchen and the collection of things that we use CONSTANTLY!  It’s our Disney . . .

. . .DRINKWARE!

Each morning, I grab a Disney mug for my coffee.  Usually it’s this one:

001

I’m not sure why this is my mug of choice, but it is.  Once upon a time (like my use of Disney fairy tale speak?), we also had a Cinderella mug like this (but I broke the handle).

If my Belle mug happens to be dirty, I’ll reach for another Disney mug, like one of these from the Disney Store, or the neat one my friend Jodi gifted me with a few Christmases ago:

Later in the day, when I want a glass of water, or I’m hitting the road and want to take a drink along, I’ll grab one of our Disney resort mugs or a Disney glass:

We have a ton of Disney resort mugs!  And they are all black, pink, and turquoise.  Every time we go, I wish for some new colors to choose from – or a new style!  I often wonder why I don’t get rid of them because we seriously have a whole shelf in my cup cupboard that is filled with them; but I just can’t bear to part with them!

I have 3 different sets of Disney glasses that we’ve collected from McDonald’s (and antique shops) over the years.  I’m not a huge fan of glassware (I’ve cut myself trying to wash the inside of glasses and breaking them!)  But, these are all nice wide openings that I can easily reach into to clean – so they are my glasses of choice.  These get used VERY HARD!

We also have a few of the insulated tumblers from the Disney Store.  We like those too (I just didn’t take a picture because they’re usually floating around in someone’s car or somewhere!)

Because I almost always have a drink of some kind within arm’s reach, this is my favorite way to “keep the Disney magic alive at home” in my day-to-day.

What about YOU?  What are some things you do to keep that magic alive in your home?

Thank you for joining me today. Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail Loop is Disney on Wheels.

Oh love Disney glasses, I have them too. I drink out of the squareish ones all the time.

I love Disney glasses too! I have those same ones from McDonald's. I'm a new coffee drinker so I'm working on my mug collection now. :)
