TTT ~ Fruits & Veggies

Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia_thumb

Special thanks to my friends – Jodi @ Magical Mouse Schoolhouse, Mike @ My Dreams of Disney, and Jennifer @ Disney Babies Blog – for co-hosting this fun meme!

Did you know? More than 30 tons of the fruits and vegetables served in WDW restaurants are grown in The Land pavilion.

I know I’m probably in the minority here, but I still LOVE the Living with the Land attraction!  While everyone else seems to stop by The Land only for Soarin’ (which IS great), I always venture over for a slow and relaxing trip through those amazing gardens!  No matter how many times we visit, we always see something new and interesting.  One of these days, I’m doing the Behind the Seeds tour too!

They grow some really neat things in there! I love the giant lemons! Thanks for co-hosting Tiggerific Tuesday!

I like Living with the Land also! Such a unique combination of education and wonderful incorporation of the ride into the restaurant upstairs. And that doesn't even take into account the vegetables and fruits that they grow there!

I'm not surprised! Somehow I think our families would get along GREAT at Disney!

Well that's two of us then! I learn something new every time we visit Living with the Land, and now I learned something without taking the trip. I love how Disney strives to be self sufficient in so many ways. Thanks Heidi!

I love Living with the Land, too! I always like eating in Sunshine Seasons to know I'm getting some locally grown food!

I love Living with the Land! It is definitely on our must do list every trip. We haven't done the Behind the Seeds Tour yet either, but we definitely want to!
