Walkin’ the Crew Blogs 7/27/10

It’s week #3 of Walkin’ the Crew Blogs! Each Tuesday, Brenda and I are featuring 2 of our First Mate Mentors and their mini Crew teams.

Both of this week’s First Mates are 3rd year returning Crew members. They’re both great assets to our team!

First, I’d like to introduce you to Diane, aka The Crazy Mom. Diane blogs at Ramblings from the Crazy House 2. Diane is always cheerful and fun; I know I’d enjoy hanging out with her. Her posts are fun to read, and her reviews are complete with a fun scoring system that I’m sure you’ll enjoy!

Next up, we have Kimberly from Train Up a Child. Kimberly is a 2nd generation homeschooler, who was homeschooled when homeschooling was not cool! Let me tell you something about Kimberly – this girl can create math pages for unit studies like you would not believe! (If you don’t believe me, be sure to check out the new line of unit studies that TOS will be launching in August!)

Kimberly’s mini-Crew is “The King’s Kippage”. Here’s what Kimberly has to say about the “story behind the name” ---

Kippage is an old term used for the crew or passengers sailing on a ship. However it also means disorder, confusion (that might be appropriate at times), and a fit of rage. We choose to think of it as we are the crew of the KING who guides our days of homeschooling.
