Fashion to Figure

Several weeks ago, I was asked to share about Fashion to Figure on my blog.  Fashion to Figure is an online store that specializes in trendy and fashionable clothing for the plus-size woman.  Their prices are very reasonable.

My first order of business was to select an item to review.  I was given 5 items to choose from.  Not every item was available in every size.  And, one of my problems with ordering clothing online is that sizes are not standard.  I wanted to pick something fun, yet semi-practical (for me); so I decided on a black shirt with some shirring and sequins, thinking it would be appropriate to wear for  Christmas.  Also, even after being told that their clothes run true to size, I went with a 2X, thinking (if anything) it would be a little big.

I am unable to find the exact shirt I ordered of the website (it must have sold out or been discontinued).  It came fairly quickly and was in perfect shape.  I pulled it out of the package, though, and right away knew it would be too small for me.  So, I turned it over to Ashley.

This isn’t the best picture (we were at a tea room, trying on silly hats) but at least you can see the top of the shirt.  It’s very slimming.  We added the red insert as the shirt (by itself) was a little too low.  It’s a very slimming shirt and has held up fine to several trips through the washer and dryer.  My only wish is that it would have fit me!

If you’re plus-sized and looking for fun, trendy clothes, you might want to check out Fashion to Figure.  You can follow them on FB and Twitter too (just click the buttons on their home page).  A word of warning --- you might want to order a size (or 2) up.

NOTE: I received free product from Fashion to Figure in order to write this post. I was not compensated in any other way and the thoughts and opinions expressed herein are entirely my own.
