DD ~ World Showcase at EPCOT

ddbutton2

I absolutely adore World Showcase at EPCOT!  It’s one of my favorite parts of the whole Walt Disney World experience.  On one of our trips, I had a goal of getting our family picture taken in every country.  We did it too – despite the fact that it was raining that day and we were wearing those tacky rain ponchos for 1/2 the pictures.  I guess that’s the stuff memories are made of, right?

This week, I want to know YOUR thoughts on World Showcase.

  • What’s your favorite thing about World Showcase?
  • If you have kids, what do you to do make the World Showcase experience more fun and/or educational for them?
  • Do you have a favorite place to eat in World Showcase?
  • And, as always, please share your favorite World Showcase pictures with us!

I’m going to share my thoughts, ideas, and plans for our trip in May in a separate post, which I will link up. :)  Can’t wait to read YOUR post!

Our daughter loves to take her mask to each country and get the stamps. It helps get us through all of the World Showcase since that can be hard for a small child. We like to eat at Mexico and at the sit down Chinese restaurant (which I can't remember the name of).

The World Showcase was actually my family's favorite part of Disney-- well, other than the Princess lunch my daughter had. We all love to travel so we pretended we really were going to each country and we bought a little something to eat at each "country". We were so stuffed by the time we were through, even with a little taste here and a little taste there- that was the first time they ever tried lamb!

World Showcase is one of my favorote places in the whole of Disney. My daughter loved doing the passport when she was 10 and even wanted to do it again when she was 12! The first time we visited we only had one day for the whole of Epcot. We just raced from one country to the next getting the passport stamped and that was about it. The second time we visited we stayed right next door to Epcot and visited many times and did most of the attractions in World Showcase. We loved the amazing shop in Japan and all the street performers in the different countries. We have only eaten at the Rose and Crown Pub which is supposed to be english! Next time we visit (very soon) we will be eating at Chefs De France and watching the fireworks -can't wait :)
