TTT ~ Turkey Legs

Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia_thumb

Did you know? The world famous turkey legs sold throughout WDW come from 40- to 50-pound turkeys.  Every 1.5-pound leg is injected with a salt water cure and cooked for 6 hours.*

Hmmm . . . not sure if this is good or bad, but it’s certainly interesting, right?

Believe it or not, I've never had one of those! Probably because it's always so hot when we're there that Mickey ice cream bars are more appealing ;) Thanks for co-hosting!

I don't even think they taste like turkey. To me, they taste more like smoked ham. They're kinda greasy, but my younger 2 kids love them. We usually buy one and all 5 of us eat off of it. LOL We haven't had one on our last 2 trips though.

I confess to never having eaten one either. They just look prehistoric to me. The kids love them though. Thanks for co-hosting the hop.
