This week’s Destination Disney topic is “things that start with A”. I think I’m going to LOVE doing the alphabet theme as it’s so open-ended and limited only by your imagination! I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with for these!
At our house, it definitely all started with “A”. . . .
Our oldest daughter, ASHLEY, on her first trip to WDW in 1999
(she was 5 years old)
Also, notice ARIEL on her necklace!
Through the years, as we’ve added to our family, we’ve added to our Disney trips as well. In 2005, we took our 2nd daughter, Gracie, for her first trip. Here is a picture of ALL of us (my parents included) at the ANIMAL KINGDOM:
Another picture from that same trip . . . the girls meeting ALICE:
ASHLEY (in 2009) meeting Princess AURORA:
Don’t you just love the look of AWE on our faces in this one?!
The breakfast buffet at AKERSHUS in the Norway pavilion at EPCOT - AHHHH . . . yum!
My budding ARTIST in 2009 (we improve every year!)
Ian loves to eat at the T-Rex cafe in Downtown Disney. The atmosphere both there and at Rainforest Cafe is just really neat. We love walking around, exploring, while waiting for our food. Here’s a picture of an APATOSAURUS (I only know that because of the sign!)
Gracie isn’t a fan of the Tower of Terror (though she did brave it at age 8),
but she ADORES the Rock & Roller Coaster with AEROSMITH!
On our trip this May, we spent some time resort hopping with friends (who were serving as our tour guides). Our first stop was the ANIMAL KINGDOM LODGE . . .
I think that’s just about enough A’s for this week. I’ll end this post by sharing this collection of pins made out of Disney ALPHABET letters:
Did you share your A’s this week? If so, don’t forget to link up your post.

Love your post and your pictures!
I give this post... an "A!"
And thanks, Heidi, for compiling such an extensive list of blogs on your resource page; it's much appreciated!
Well, it's fun seeing ALL of your pictures, of course, but I particularly like the first of Ashley at age 5. Super cute!
