Operation United Hearts ~ Fundraiser & Giveaway

I think our hearts always go out to families in need, but it seems we are even more in tune to the needs of those around us during the holiday season.  We see things, such as the tragic event that took place in Connecticut yesterday, and we want to help.  We want to give.  And that’s just what we are doing now . . .

We’re teaming up with a group of bloggers to form Operation United Hearts.  “What’s that?” you ask. Well, it’s a three-fold thing . . .

First – a GIVEAWAY! We are giving one lucky winner a $140 Amazon Gift Card PLUS a copy of Magical Mouse Schoolhouse: Learn while you Play at Walt Disney World Resort by Jodi Whisenhunt!

Second – a CAUSE.  We have joined forces – as a group of bloggers, writers, military supporters and moms – to help a single military mom in need.  She and her young children lost their home to fire in November.  You can read more of the tragic story here and read how others are teaming up to help her here. We have donated $300, toys, books and more for the family just in time for Christmas!
